Here are some resources for math teachers and math students that I use and would like to share! TrigonometryThis is a unit on basic trigonometry for use with Geometry and algebra students. It includes lesson plans, worksheets, and an interactive website that I created for my masters degree. There are a few errors here and there, so feel free to use at your own risk. Interactive websiteThis is for use with classroom instruction as detailed in the lesson plans (link above). The latest version of flashplayer is required for viewing the site. It may be downloaded at www.macromedia.com/software/flashplayer Bingo creatorHere is a program for creating and printing your own bingo cards. It is a demo version so has some limitations. Project InteractivateThis is one of my favorite internet sites for teaching math. It has tons of interactive applets for graphing equations, creating tessellations, identifying angle pairs, and much more. Video Clips (coming sometime soon)I occasionally integrate video clips into my lessons. Soon I may post some of them here to download. One of my favorite sources of video is The Simpsons. Here is a link to a site that has information about math in The Simpsons. http://www.mathsci.appstate.edu/~sjg/simpsonsmath/ |
